PASTORS
Nathan Trice
Nathan has been the senior pastor of Resurrection Presbyterian Church since he was first ordained to gospel ministry in 1996. He is also a founding board member of Greyfriars Classical Academy, where he teaches theology and ethics.
Nathan was born in south Georgia but was raised in the Shenandoah Valley of Virginia. He is a graduate of Covenant College and Knox Theological Seminary.
Nathan and his wife Ashley were married in 1998 and have five children: Allie, Henry, Duncan (married to Ann Marie), Tristan, and Owen. Their favorite family pastime has been traveling the country with a camper trailer.
Justin Rosser
Justin has been a pastor of Resurrection Presbyterian Church since he was first ordained to Gospel ministry in 2015. Born in Allentown, New Jersey, Justin attended The College of New Jersey and worked for a time at Riephoff Sawmill. Justin came to Resurrection in 2008 while attending Reformed Theological Seminary, and was delighted to be asked to stay!
Justin and his wife Hannah were married in 2011 and have four children: Emma, Morgan, Oliver, and Lucy. Their favorite family pastimes include spending time outdoors, and laughing and being silly with the people they hold dear.
TEACHER
John McGowan
John McGowan was ordained as a minister in 1999 and served as the pastor of an OPC congregation in New Jersey until 2010. He has been the headmaster of Greyfriars Classical Academy since 2010 and also serves as a Teacher at Resurrection Presbyterian Church. He and his wife, Martita, celebrated their 25th anniversary in 2019 and they have four adult children. John enjoys keeping up with Philadelphia sports teams, working outside in the yard, and coming up with some crazy new house project to tackle in his limited spare time.
ELDERS
Jeff Cleveland
Dr. Jeff Cleveland has been an elder at Resurrection Presbyterian Church since 2006. He is happily married to his wife, Jennifer, and together they have four sons and two daughters. A trained pediatrician, Jeff currently works in the field of Clinical Informatics, and in his spare time he enjoys woodturning in his shop.
Chris Dollar
Chris is married to Pam and they have two adult children. Chris was originally ordained as a ruling elder in 1992 and was installed as elder at Resurrection in November 2001. He currently works at OrthoCarolina where he works as an orthopedic physical therapist and is the Coordinator of Clinical Education. Chris enjoys going for walks with Pam and quiet times hiking.
Jim Harbin
Jim Harbin was installed as an Elder at Resurrection in 2020. He is married to Loretta and has two married sons and four grandchildren. He works at AC Technical Services as the Design Manager. In his free time, he enjoys his grandchildren, hiking with Loretta, and bicycling.
John Mauldin
John and his wife Anne have been members at Resurrection since 1986 and he has served as an elder since 1995. They were blessed with four children and five grandchildren. John retired from Dun & Bradstreet, Inc. after 37 years of service. He golfs as a hobby in his spare time.
DEACONS
Nathan Brinkerhoff
Nathan Brinkerhoff became a deacon at Resurrection in 2018. He is married to Julia and they have 6 children. He currently works in aircraft maintenance for American Airlines. In his spare time, Nathan is a busy father to his young family.
Rob Cheney
Rob is married to Ann, and they have four children. He has been a member at Resurrection since 2000, and was elected as a deacon in 2007. He works in marketing and graphic design, and enjoys hunting.
Nick Quintero
Nick was installed as a deacon at Resurrection in 2022. He and his wife Paula have been blessed with four children (three girls and one boy). Nick works as the Director of Digital Marketing for a fresh produce distributor, and enjoys camping, traveling, golf, and good food.
Jeff Roach
Jeff was ordained as a deacon at Resurrection in 2006. He is married to Erica since 2000, and together they have a son and a daughter. Jeff is a trained economist for a global financial company. He and his family enjoy experiencing international cultures and doing just about any outdoor activity.
Joel Trice
Joel resides in Matthews with his wife Ly and was installed as a deacon at RPC in 2022. He is employed by a local construction group where he manages development and construction projects. When time permits, Joel and Ly enjoy taking regional excursions to explore mountain towns and coastal villages, while visiting friends and family along the way.
Mike VanWingerden
Mike became a deacon at Resurrection in 2022. He and his wife Mandy have three sons and one daughter. Mike works for Raytheon Technologies as an aftermarket operations leader. He enjoys spending time with his family, camping, and working on woodworking projects.
